Kühler & Partners International Mental Health is an officially WTZa-recognized mental health care clinic. We meet all required standards, including the kwaliteitsstatuut (quality statute) and the HKZ-Zorg Algemeen healthcare quality certificate.

Our treatment costs are based on the tariffs (also referred to as market rates) set annually by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit – NZa).

BILLING

  • You will receive a monthly invoice for the intake and treatment sessions you attended.

  • If only an intake has taken place, only the intake will be billed.

  • Invoices are sent to you directly by e-mail via INFOMEDICS.

  • You are responsible for forwarding the invoice to your health insurer for reimbursement and payment to INFOMEDICS.

SESSION DURATION
We bill the scheduled time of your session. According to Dutch healthcare regulations (Zorgprestatiemodel – ZPM), the planned duration is leading. Only if the actual duration differs by at least 15 minutes, the invoice will be adjusted in line with ZPM rules.

INSURANCE & REIMBURSEMENT

Mental health care (SGGZ and BGGZ) is included in the Dutch basic health insurance package (basisverzekering) when provided by a contracted clinic. Please note that Kühler & Partners International Mental Health does not have contracts with health insurers. We are a non-contracted healthcare provider.

The reimbursement you receive depends on:

  • your insurance policy type (natura, combination, or restitutie),

  • the conditions of your insurance coverage, and

  • your deductible (eigen risico; minimum €385 in 2026).

We strongly advise you to contact your insurer in advance and specifically ask about coverage for:
“specialized mental health care by a non-contracted, BIG-registered mental health care professional” (in Dutch: gespecialiseerde GGZ door niet-gecontracteerde, erkende BIG-geregistreerde zorgverlener).

INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE

If you have international health insurance, please check whether you are eligible for reimbursement and whether additional requirements apply (such as prior authorization, a maximum number of sessions, etc.).

RECOMMENDATION

Always confirm your coverage with your insurer before starting treatment to avoid unexpected outcomes regarding reimbursement.
